R.I.P. Dorothea Tanning. She was a part of the surrealism art movement in the states. She rubbed elbows with Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Max Earnst, Man Ray… I don’t know much information about the art, but one thing I do know is that I love it. I also thought she was completely bad ass for living so long. She passed barely two weeks ago. 1910-2012, she would have been 102 in August. <3

one of the best books I have ever read. If it hadn&#8217;t found it&#8217;s way to my hands (literally, someone gave it to me when I had no prior knowledge to it&#8217;s existence) when I was 15 I don&#8217;t know if I would have ever read it. I thought that it would be a book I would only enjoy once, as I was the same age as the antagonist. I reread it again when I was 20, and it was even more amazing than the first time I read it. I believe it will always be one of my favorite pieces of literature &lt;3
